Hello, I’m Wen, and my roots are planted deep in Indiana soil. I grew up on a small mini-farm with everything from ducks, chickens, cows, and even some turkeys. I learned early on that the best things in life aren’t always filtered— they’re found in the reality of everyday life.
After years as a Pre-K teaching assistant, I traded the classroom for the open road to build The Hoosier Crew. My mission was simple: create a brand that ditches the “influencer ” fluff in favor of real friends, honest reviews, and a raw look at Midwest fun.
The Perspective: As a disabled creator, I am dedicated to the behind-the-scenes truth of navigating travel with transparency, heart, and zero filters.
The Values: If it isn’t authentic, we don’t post it. We are here for real food, the real stories, and the real fun made with friends.
Meet Our Mascot Paul the Pyrenees: Every great Crew needs a cheerleader behind-the-scenes. Given his giant size, and my balance issues, that makes it tough for him to hit the road with us. So, my Great Pyrenees Paul is our official brand mascot, and our #1 fan from home. He is my heart, and he takes his job seriously. He keeps the “home base” protected while the rest of the Crew is out finding our next favorite spot that’s worth the stop.
Meet Jenn: Chief Adventure Officer and Co-Pilot
A born and raised Indianapolis girl, Jenn has Hoosier roots as deep as they come. As a stay-at-home mom, she’s spent years perfecting the art of finding the next great adventure! She feels life is too short to stay in one zip code.
We found each other the way the best friendships seem to happen through our kids. It was her daughter’s 5th birthday party. What started with cake and chaos turned into 11 years of laughter, friendship, and fun times together. We have shared many road trip adventures together discovering everything Indiana has to offer. And somewhere between the candles and the confetti, our daughters became best friends too. Now we are taking our friendship on the road and bringing you along for the ride.
When she isn’t behind the camera capturing every hidden gem and must try bite, she’s your gal for honest takes, real reactions, and zero filter. If there is something worth seeing, eating, or exploring in the Midwest, she’s already got it on her list.
