the Founder: Wendi and Paul
Hello, I’m Wen, and my roots are planted deep in Indiana soil. I grew up on a small mini-farm with everything from ducks, chickens, cows, and even some turkeys. I learned early on that the best things in life aren’t always filtered— they’re found in the reality of everyday life.
After years as a Pre-K teaching assistant, I traded the classroom for the open road to build The Hoosier Crew. My mission was simple: create a brand that ditches the “influencer ” fluff in favor of real friends, honest reviews, and a raw look at Midwest fun.
The Perspective: As a disabled creator, I am dedicated to the behind-the-scenes truth of navigating travel. I’m sharing my real story of exploring Indiana with transparency, heart, and zero filters.
The Content: From our deep-dive vlogs, to my personal blog stories, I lead the charge in scouting out Indiana’s best wineries, small towns finds, and even a few haunted spots.
The Values: If it isn’t authentic, we don’t post it. We are here for real food, the real stories, and the real fun made with friends.
Meet Our Mascot Paul the Pyrenees: Every great Crew needs a cheerleader behind-the-scenes. While my disability makes it tough for him to hit the road with us, my Great Pyrenees Paul is our official brand Mascot, and our #1 fan from home. He is my heart, and he takes his job seriously. He keeps the “home base” protected while the rest of the Crew is out finding our next favorite spot that’s worth the stop.
